Many countries celebrate New Year's day on Jan.1, but few countries also celebrate Lunar New Year's day. Horses symbolize determination, endurance, vitality, leadership, freedom, and strength or power. People gave all good words to horses. I think that the reason is this. Horses were necessary for people to move to other places. They could use horses to carry heavy things or as a vehicle. So they gave all good meanings to horses to appreciate horses. Anyway, my younger sister was born in the year of horse, and she is now 12 years old. And I was born in the year of dragon, and people call me and my friends as 'Millenium babies'. This year is the year of 'blue' horses, my sister was born in the year of 'dark' horse. And I was born in the year of 'white' dragon.
