Let's talk about glacier. 빙하는 극지방이나 고산지대에 쌓인 눈이 다져져 생긴 얼음 덩어리입니다. Glacier is a lump of snow on the pole or high reaches. 만년설이 압축되어 생기기도 합니다. Sometimes permanent snow becomes glacier. 이것이 중력 때문에 미끄러져 내려옵니다. It glides becouse of gravity. 흘러내리면서 신기한 지형이 만들어집니다. It makes strange topography when it glides. 혼은 빙하에 의해 깎여 생긴 산봉우리입니다. Horn is a mountain that is cut by glacier. U자곡은 빙하가 이동하면서 산을 깎아 만들어진 U자 모양의 계곡입니다. U-shaped valley is formed when the glacier glides and cut mountains. 찰흔은 빙하가 이동하면서 암석을 긁은 자국입니다. Striation is the scrach on the rock when glacier moves. 그리고 빙하와 함께 운반되어 온 퇴적물이 쌓인 빙퇴석이 있습니다. And there are moraines that was transported with glacier. 이번에는 빙하 코어에 대하여 알아봅시다. Let's talk about the ice core. 빙하 코어는 빙하에서 뽑아낸 얼음 기둥입니다. Ice core is the ice pillar of glacier. 생성 당시 공기 방울과 먼지, 화샌재 등이 들어가서 과거의 기후, 기온, 기체의 변화를 알 수 있습니다.
