Auto-Mobile Google, an American search engine company, recently revealed a new prototype of its self-driving car. The company designed and built its own vehicles for the first time, rather than modifying ones made by other manufacturers. The company has been working on developing self-driving cars for the past four years. It has developed about 10 self-driving cars so far. Unlike the previous models, however, they have no steering wheels, brakes, or acceleration pedals. The two-seater vehicles run on electricity, and they can travel at 40 km per hour. Since they have start and stop buttons, people can control the cars simply by pushing the buttons. Once they start driving, spinning laser scanners and cameras on the tops of the cars sense obstacles and traffic signals on the roads. ¡°Fully autonomous driving has always been the goal of our project,¡± said a Google spokesperson, ¡°because we think this could improve road safety and help lots of people who can¡¯t drive.¡± The company currently plans to build more than 100 prototypes of the self-driving car and test them this summer. l want to buy this car^^%
