It was about billion until 1920~1930s, but after the war, it grew to 7 billion which means that it jumped 7 times during 70 years from 1940s to 2010. As the world population grew explosively, we started to feel that we need more rules to regulate actions of us. From that point of view, we established the International Court of Justice and we are following rules created by it. Inside them there are bunch amount of pages about duty and responsibility which are needed to anyone who are living in this planet, Earth. The view point which made those rules and restrictions is that there are roles to be a citizen on Earth. Role’s meaning is that there is a particular position and function in something. Then what can be rules or roles for human beings who are exactly different each other? In our daily lives, we are living with rules. For example, we have to recycle Plastic, Paper and Glass. Furthermore, we should not throw trashes on the ground and put it in the trash cans. These rules became the driving force of my society. In addition, roles of residents in my city is to pay taxes, earn money and choose better governors. When these roles and rules perfectly supplied, ideal world that we think and hope for are made. Same as rules and roles of citizens in my city, there are many rules and roles that world civilians should keep. Those rules and roles can be reducing the growth of the global warming, keep endangered species safe, use less coal, oil and develop new eco- typed energy and even more. But what do they mean to us? Are they law? Are they duties that we must keep? No they aren’t. They are just a promise which can be not successfully act. The reasons why we are accepting those roles and rules and successfully acting, though it is not the things that we must keep. For the first stand point of view, our roles relieve the life existence of our future generations. Most of roles and rules of us are concentrated on environmental problems or ethic problems. If we satisfy them, environment become better and better, and there can’t be ethical problems. Then it can be one of the factors that our future generations can live. Also, we can be more closer and friendlier than before. As one example, there is a campaign which name is ‘Earth Hour’. That program is promoting and saying people to turn off the lights for an hour in every year last Saturdays on March. And it spread around the world and estimate 3.2 billion people which are about 50 % of total world population followed. This campaign made lots of trade on the SNS( Social Network Service) around the world and assisted to make better relationships between diverse people from Black to White. Plus, we can get benefits of our lives convenience. Roles and rules are existing for our convenience. And if we obey them, we can get a great safety and convenience from keeping them. Lastly, rules and roles which were sentenced internationally, establish main world. Every rules, roles and laws are the basis of the world.
