내 용	The amazing cat’s name is Smokey and she lives in Northampton with her owners Ruth and Mark Adams. According to her owners, Smokey is a very unique cat. She purrs so loudly that they cannot hear the television or radio when she is in the room. Sometimes having telephone conversations is impossible! Most cats purr at around 25 decibels, but Smokey’s averages 80 decibels.“Smokey is probably the nosiest cat in the world. She even manages to purr while she eats. When I’m on the phone, my friends often ask what the loud noise is and they can’t believe it is coming from a cat,” said Mrs. Adams. “She purrs nearly all the time. The only time she is quiet is when she is asleep!”Mrs. Adams adopted Smokey from a rescue center 3 years ago for her 10-year-old daughter Amy. The family has 2 dogs and 2 other cats, but Smokey is the loudest cat they have ever heard.
