About mondegreen

About mondegreen There is a video that badger are exercising. Many people liking inculding Korean. And, Korean say that it is patjuk song. Patjuk is Korean treditional food. And badger is animal. So, patjuk and badger had no relation. But, why Korean are telling that it is patjuk song? It is because Korean listen to badger like patjuk. Many Korean do not know well at –er sound because there is no Korean that sound like -er. This is my opinion. I do not think it sound like patjuk at all! I think it is sound like yojeor. Yojeor is meaning of die young in Korean. Badger and yojeor is very simular I think. Like this mondegreen is same sound and different meaning. Another mondegreen I think is this. On early 1900s, many American went to Korea and Korean work at mine. When they found gold, some Korean think they want to touch. Then, American says, ¡°No touch!¡± But, many Korean heard like this. Nodaji. So, many Korean called gold into nodaji. It is really funny.

About mondegreen There is a video that shows a badger exercising. Many people around the world like watching it including Koreans. And, Koreans say that it is a patjuk song. Patjuk is a Korean traditional food, and badger is an animal. So, patjuk and badger has no relation. But, why do Koreans say that it is a patjuk song? It is because Koreans hear the word badger like patjuk. Many Koreans do not know the /er/ sound well, because there is no Korean sound like /er/. This is my opinion. I do not think it sounds like patjuk at all! I think it's close to 'yojeor'. Yojeor's meaning is 'die young'. Badger and yojeor are very similar, I think. Like this mondegreen, that has the same sound, but different meaning. Another mondegreen I think is this. In early 1900s, many Americans went to Korea, and found Koreans working at the mine. When they discovered gold, some Koreans think they want to touch them. However, Americans say, ¡°Don't touch!¡± But, many Koreans heard like this, 'Nodaji'. So, Koreans called gold nodaji. It is really funny. *NOTE : Study the corrections on the following : - arrangement of sentence - choices of words - spelling ================================================================================================================================= Dear Huwinaro, Oh! I like the story. That's really hilarious. It's such a creative humor. Language is really fun to learn. And learning Mondegreen is but fun. Cheers, Teacher Mea
