I love peanuts. I think they are a great snack. Peanut is a nut, right? Is it? Well, the answer is no!
Peanut is in the family of beans. In the U.S., Americans love peanuts. 4 out of 10 chocolate bars in the U.S. have peanuts! Americans love peanuts so much that they have a national peanut month.
Peanuts come from plants on the ground. And the peanut flower makes a yellow flower every year! Now, that’s something new we learned about peanuts! |
