It looks like a beach. I’m not quite sure whether it’s a sea or an ocean, though. If it is a lake, then it must be a huge one!
It must be summertime, or at least the weather must be warm enough, because everyone is playing on the beach wearing swimsuits or swimming trunks.
There aren’t many people at the beach when the photo was taken, probably because of the temperature, time of day, day of the week, or other reasons. A few people, mostly children, have plastic neon tubes to play with in the sea.
I notice the long shadows of people standing on the beach. The sun may be rising or setting, but I guess it’s more likely to be setting, because few people go play at beaches at dawn.
The sky, the clouds, the sun, the sea (or the ocean) all become elements of this one big masterpiece of nature. It would mean even more if I were there and had fond memories attached to this picture.
