Yes, I have. I¡¯ve always had dogs because I used to live in a house until I moved into an apartment a few years ago. I didn¡¯t want to have a dog in an apartment, because there is no ¡®outside¡¯ and there are other households in the complex.
I don¡¯t think it¡¯s much different from finding a friend or roommate. You and the pet have to be able to live together in a happy and satisfactory environment. There may be a number of factors and you need to consider them closely or both you and your pet will end up miserably.
I think that I need to consider various things. For instance, I need to see whether I am allergic to the hair of the pet I am thinking of buying. Also, I need to know whether the pet is bred to live indoors.
Yes, I have seen some people doing that. I will not do it myself, though. Babies are fragile creatures that require sensitive, round-the-clock attention. Pets are basically tamed wild animals that may cause allergies, carry viruses, or have other negative effects on a baby¡¯s health. Better safe than sorry. I would wait until the baby becomes big enough to handle all of that.
