Hi, this is Amy Johns. I am the general manager of the hotel. I have noticed we have a very busy banquet services season coming up. Since you are the Banquet Service Director, I thought I would ask your advice to solve a problem we’re having now. We have many banquets and functions booked already ? 5 weddings, 3 other corporate events, and many dinners ? but I noticed that there are not enough staff to service these banquets, so I think this is a serious problem. And since you are the director of banquet services, it is your responsibility to hire more staff for us to be able to service these banquets effectively. There will be a job fair for a week from next Wednesday. Why don’t we set up our own booth and meet applicants? Since you want to hire qualified staff who can manage the services effectively, it will be a good chance to find someone with a wide range of experience.
