Part 5는 문제를 포함한 전화 음성 메시지를 듣고 그 문제 따른 해결책을 제시해야 한다. 단순히 메시지를 요약하여 전달한다고 해서 고득점을 받을 수 없다. 그에 따른 적절한 해결책을 제시해야 높은 점수를 받을 수 있다. 실제 시험장에서는 필기도구를 사용할 수 없으므로, 내용을 기억하고 해결책과 함께 요약해서 말하는 것이 중요하다.
