Visitors enjoyed Gyeongbokgung Palace on Jan. 17 under a clear blue sky. Fine dust levels remained low due to northwesterly winds. It was a great day for tourists to explore Korea¡¯s famous royal palace.

The Seoul Lantern Festival ended on Jan. 18 after running for more than a month. It attracted a record 2.77 million visitors. The festival featured colorful paper lanterns and glowing art along the Cheonggyecheon Stream.
