On April 26, the Myohyeonrye ceremony was held at Jongmyo Shrine¡¯s Yeongnyeongjeon Hall. It is a Joseon-era ritual in which a newly married queen or crown princess pays her respect to royal ancestors at the shrine.
Honoring Korea¡¯s Naval Hero
On April 25, Navy and Marine honor guards marched in a parade at the Yi Sun-sin Festival in Chungmuro, Seoul. The festival celebrates Yi Sun-sin, a brave admiral who protected Korea by winning important battles at sea.
