Cha Jun-hwan, 17, is the first Korean male figure skater to win a medal at the ISU Grand Prix Final. Before this, Cha won two bronze medals in a row at the ISU Grand Prix. The world’s top figure skaters competed in this final match. This is the first time for a Korean to qualify for the final since Kim Yu-na nine years ago.
