According to The Voice for Consumers, the sugar content of milk chocolates sold nationwide exceeds the World Health Organization¡¯s recommended daily sugar intake. The average sugar content of 15 milk chocolate products (including Ghana, Hershey¡¯s, and ABC) was 54.82 g. This amount exceeds the recommended daily intake for children (35 g) and adults (50 g). Therefore, people should be careful when they eat milk chocolate. Too much sugar can lead to obesity and other diseases.
